BAKED LIGHT FRENCH FRIES
Ingredients
6 each large baking potatoes
½ cup coating mix garlic salt (3 tbsp), seasoning salt (3 tbsp), black pepper (2 tbsp)
Method
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Peel potatoes and cut into long strips.
3. In a large bowl add potatoes and rinse thoroughly with water. Drain.
4. In separate bowl add coating mixture or any other preferred seasonings.
5. Add potatoes and toss until well coated.
6. Place in a single layer on a pre-sprayed foil-lined cookie sheet and bake in a preheated hot oven (425 degrees) for 15-25 minutes until easily pierced or until golden brown.
7. Sprinkle with salt and serve hot.
Yield: 6 servings – 4 oz per person (About 12 fries)
