Don Burnard, Ed.D. has 22 years of experience in leadership in a variety of settings and roles, and is currently employed as a business and education consultant. He has a passion for building teams and developing people. He values relationships, engaging employees, building a culture of achievement, communication and trust, empowering and motivating others, and having a vision for the organization and transforming it into reality. As former Center Dean for Point Loma Nazarene and DeVry Universities, Don has acquired extensive experience in business development, revitalization and resuscitation. Don has an earned Doctorate degree in Leadership, a Master of Arts degree in Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. He has also attended a variety of seminars and workshops on Leadership tenets. Don feels fortunate to have lived in the same community for all his years and feels compelled to equip the next generation of citizens and community leaders. He does so through his involvement in a variety of community activities and organizations, and membership on a variety of boards. He has 22 years of teaching experience from K-12 to Master’s-level courses. Most of which however, has been in the area of education and training of current, or future educators and administrators. He is a published researcher and enjoys writing. He has also conducted a variety of workshops, seminars and colloquiums on business and education leadership. Don is blessed with a family of three and enjoys spending time with them, in a variety of activities, including; physical training, scuba diving, and coaching football. He is also involved in church and a variety of community organizations and activities. |

Elizabeth Tilson, MA is Clinical Director of WSCA. Elizabeth started with Wellspring Texas as a Behavioral Coach in 2008. She also worked at Wellspring Academy of the Carolinas before relocating to Wellspring Academy of California in 2011. Elizabeth has worked with youth and their families, with particular focus on the area of eating disorders. Elizabeth received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology from Texas State University. As part of her academic and occupational experience, Elizabeth received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. On her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. |

Teresa Busch is the Academic Director of Wellspring Academy of California. Teresa graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. After graduation, she taught summer school at the American School in Rabat, Morocco. She spent five years teaching in a rural K-8 elementary school before earning an Administrative Credential from Fresno Pacific University. Teresa received training in Conflict Resolution and Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) from Fresno Pacific University and the San Francisco Community Board. For the next twenty years she spent time as an elementary school teacher, teacher on special assignment, vice principal/program manager, and a principal for Fresno Unified School District. She also has had the opportunity to work four summers as a secondary teacher tutoring students for their high school exit exam and teaching drivers education. Teresa brings her experience and training from different educational settings; her passion of helping students and staffs; and her experience of weight loss and fitness to Wellspring Academy. Teresa and her husband, Rich, have lived in Reedley for the last twenty years. Their four adult children, all in college, currently live in Portland, Prague, Davis, and Reedley. Teresa loves to travel, especially to spend time with friends and family, and to serve her community. |

Anthony “Buff” Taylor has been with WSCA since 2004 and has served as a Program Coach, Weekend Supervisor and now as our Program Director. Anthony has extensive experience in working with adolescence as well as young adults. Anthony has held the positions of Program Manager, Supervisor, and Administrator in Residential Care Facilities. Anthony has a AA degree in General Studies from Reedley College. When Anthony started working with us he weighed 400lbs himself and using the WSCA program he has lost 155lbs and is a true role model for our students and staff. He loves coaching high school Football and Basketball and loves spending time with his family. |

Jeremy Berumen is the Fitness Director at Wellspring Academy of California. He is from Antioch, CA and has been with Wellspring since 2008. Jeremy has worked in a variety of Health Clubs and has a background specializing in Rehabilitative and Corrective Exercise. Jeremy has his Certified Personal Trainer credential from the International Sports Sciences Association and is currently seeking his Master Trainer Certification. Jeremy is currently a Kickboxer in the International Kickboxing Federation and also teaches Muay Thai Kickboxing at a local club. Outside of training, he enjoys long distance running and eventually wants to complete a 100 mile+ Ultramarathon. |

Hidi Horikoshi was born in Japan,and has been in United States since he was 12 years old. He graduated from Salisbury University in Maryland with degree in Human Communication Arts while double minoring in Dance and Coaching. While attending school, he was also training at Broadway Dance Center in NYC to pursue his dream of becoming a professional dancer. Certified in Group Fitness and Personal Training, he conducts classes at Wellspring Academies, Wellspring Pennsylvania Camp and local gym nearby in Reedley, California throughout the year. In his past time he enjoys long distance running, ultimate frisbee, hiphop dancing and anything that challenges him physically, mentally and spiritually. His passion lies within the Bible verse, Colossians 3:23. "So whatever you do, work at it with all your heart. As working for the Lord, not for men." He has been with Wellspring (WPA, WSCL and WSCA) since summer of 2010. |
