Student Living at Wellspring Academy of California
The quality of life experienced by students at Wellspring is extremely important to their overall success. Many students arrive having felt socially isolated and lonely at their home school. At Wellspring, students are surrounded by peers who understand their struggle and are immersed in an environment that supports their academic and weight loss success at every turn.
Location
Wellspring Academy of California is located in Reedley, 30 minutes southeast of Fresno in California's Central Valley. We offer pick-up at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
The Central Valley is known for its abundant farmlands and outdoor recreation hot spots. Our campus is surrounded by orchards and vineyards, creating an idyllic backdrop for students' morning walks and outdoor activities. Our proximity to Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks makes it possible for us to offer exciting off-campus trips to some of the country's most-loved outdoor recreation areas.
Housing and Facilities
Students at Wellspring Academy of California live in dormitories (separate buildings for boys and girls) with Wellspring staff on-duty 24-hours a day. Living arrangements vary from two to four students per room, depending on the configuration. Most rooms have in-suite bathrooms and showers. Common areas within the dorms serve as group meeting areas and gathering spots for friends during free time.
Facilities at Wellspring Academy of California offer unique and varied opportunities for students to find activities they love and will continue at home. Our 68-acre campus offers:

Wellspring Academy of California was created as an immersive environment in which students have few outside distractions and are able to focus on weight loss, academic achievement, and developing healthy new habits.
