Enrolling at Wellspring
At Wellspring, you'll meet people who are just like you—kids, teens and young adults looking to lose weight and get their lives back on track. When the time comes to make a change for the better, the Wellspring Academies community is here to welcome you.
Admissions Criteria
WEIGHT: Applicants must be at least 30 pounds overweight and struggling with their weight for at least two years.
ATTITUDE: Students must view Wellspring as an opportunity. Wellspring will not admit students who are clearly opposed to attending, or who have a history of oppositional behavior or violence.
MEDICAL: Wellspring will not admit students with medical issues requiring hospitalization.
Admissions Process
Step 1: Submit a Wellspring Academies Application. This may be done over the phone by calling 866.277.0221, or online by filling out our Wellspring Online Application.
An enrollment fee of $2,000 must accompany your application. The enrollment fee is in addition to tuition, and will be returned only if your application is not accepted (see Admission Criteria, above).
Step 2: Complete an Enrollment Package. Following receipt of your completed application and enrollment fee, you will receive an enrollment package via email. The enrollment package includes questions for parents, for the prospective student, and for the family physician, as well as academic record release forms that allow Wellspring’s Academic Director to contact your home school for a transcript.
All forms must be completed before the student’s arrival on campus.
Step 3: Pay the Tuition. The first month’s tuition is due before your child arrives on campus, and monthly thereafter. Instructions for payment are included in your Enrollment Package. Payment can be made by credit card, check or money order, or student loan disbursement. Tuition and listed fees include all expenses while the student remains at Wellspring, with the following limited exceptions:
- Any required medical treatment while your child is at Wellspring
- Personal items (shampoo, notebooks, clothing, etc.)
