Living on Program Off-Campus

December 9, 2009

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Well last week I went on an Off Campus Challenge (OCC-- we get to leave campus for a while and practice) to Fresno with a couple of the guys from wellspring. We had a very good weekend and had a lot of fun. We ate on program for most of the part but did not do perfect. I found out that it is very hard to eat good food in a hotel. It is also hard to work out the way you want to when there is not enough stuff for me to work with. So I came back to wellspring and weighed in and did not do that great, I put on a couple pounds and was very disappointed in myself. So this week I worked very hard to lose as much as I could and I lost 14 pounds, I was very happy with myself. I have been at wellspring for 4 months now and have lost 118 pounds. The semester is about to end I am very happy with my progress here and hope to continue it in the next semester.

Breaking the 100 lb. Mark

November 18, 2009.

I have been here for 3 months and 1 week, I have lost 104 pounds. It’s been very good for me while I have been here. I am learning all I can about nutrition and culinary. I am learning all I can with my training and being able to go to the gym and give myself a good workout without a trainer with me. I have been taking a picture a day just so I can see myself change over the next 10 month. I got into a couple arguments with some people in the last week because I am very competitive and always want to win at everything I do. I got on rappel this week for missing too many classes at school. But I made them up so I took care of that. Went to the movies this week and watched a very good movie. Had a good weekend worked really hard and it paid off. I am going on occ (get to return home) this week and can’t wait so I can get some me time to relax and recharge the engines.

October 30

Since the 19th of October I have lost I have lost 18 pounds and I am very proud of it. On the 19th I had a bad day because I had a bad weigh in, so that made my whole day bad. The Tuesday went well because I got a good grade on my business test. On the Wednesday it was alright because there was some drama in the dorm with a couple people. And I challenged Greg Smith in a basketball shootout-- I lost but then I beat him one on one, so that was fun.

Thursday was a hard day because I had to do personal training, and then do two back to back basketball classes at school. After that I went home and did personal training again then did soccer that night. That Friday I went to get some new shoes because my other ones had holes in them. We went to the movies that night so did not get a lot of activity in so was not very happy with that. On that Saturday I made up for the lack of activity because we played soccer and then football then we went to laser tag and did a very good activity. Sunday is mostly a chill day for me. I still did all 3 activities but it is always laid back. Monday started off good for me because it was a good weigh in. I lost 8 pounds and was happy because I worked very hard that week.

Lots more energy

Today is October 20, 2009

It has been a good two weeks, I am now up to 76 pounds in 2 and a half months. I am stating to see the results in my clothing and in my face. So that makes me very happy. I am starting to have more energy and more stamina. I am learning a lot about cooking and a lot about portion sizes. I am doing up to four activities a day and feeling good when I am done with them. Don’t have that much this time but will next time. //

Losing Weight-- Fast

Today is October 5, 2009

I have been at Wellsprings Academy for 2 months now. I have lost a total of 64 pounds. The last two week has been really good, I had a good week of school, and it went really fast. It was very quiet this weekend, all the student left and there were only a couple people on campus. The weekends for me are very hard because you don’t work out as much as you do during the week. The reason why the weekends are hard for me is we weight in on Monday so that should be the days that you work out the most. We usually have 4 or 5 activities during the week and on the weekend we have only 2 to 3 activities. So it is really up to you to do extra activities on the weekend. I worked really hard this week and it paid off for me because I lost 7 pounds.

Hi my name is William Hall. I have been at Wellspring Academy of California for a month and half. In the time I have been here I have learned more here then I knew before I came here. I started out at 550 pounds on August 7 and on September 22 I weigh 499 pounds. I have lost 51 pounds in a month and a half. My goal is to lose 250 pounds by the time I leave here. I believe it is possible for me if I train hard and eat right
